The BOMA Boston Affiliate Member of the Year Award was established to recognize the efforts of committee members who exemplify the best of BOMA’s volunteer leadership through significant contributions to the real estate industry, active participation in and longevity of service to BOMA Boston. The award was presented at the BOMA Boston Industry Awards ceremony on November 29, 2007 at the Boston Seaport Hotel.

Sabel has been an active member of BOMA Boston for several years, currently serving on the Education, Roundtable, Membership, Affiliate and The Office Building of the Year (TOBY) Awards committees. Additionally, he introduced the BOMA “Passport to Excellence,” which he designed to encourage better attendance and networking at the organization’s events.

“We are so pleased that Jeff has been recognized by BOMA Boston for his contributions to their organization,” said Deborah Owen, Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer of Able Restoration. “His dedication and commitment to support BOMA Boston is evident in the time and resources he puts forth. It is wonderful to see his efforts recognized by a group he respects.”

“Jeff was nominated for this award by several people, which is a testament to how well-respected he is in the property management community,” said Jeanne Wolf, Executive Director of BOMA Boston. “He has shown outstanding commitment and service to BOMA Boston and the real estate industry and for that we are truly thankful.”

A resident of Plymouth and graduate of Florida State University’s College of Business Administration, Sabel joined Able Restoration in 2005 after working in the insurance industry for several years.
